Fun Stuff for Stay at Home Superheroes for Valentines Weekend!

Deirdre O’Sullivan from Wicklow Child and Family Project knows that there are many super heroes working hard to keep our community safe at this time and that this includes all the children staying at home, keeping distant and continuing to wash their hands and keep distance from their friends!

This is tough! So Deirdre has gathered some more great ideas of activities that you can do at home while keeping you and your friends and family safe at the moment and to help celebrate Valentines weekend.

This crafty project can be put together with salt dough (using the recipe we posted last week here ) and other materials you may already have around the house!

Do not throw out your toilet roll tubes! They can be used for this painting project to create a Valentines themed work of art with your stay at home superheroes over the weekend!

After all those activities, you are going to be hungry! This cookie recipe is super simple and your helpers at home can easily help out. These healthy snacks will help keep hunger at bay for your busy kids
