Fundraising Workshops

As part of the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP), County Wicklow Partnership has developed an “Introduction to Fundraising” Workshop. The workshop is free to all community & voluntary groups and organisations. Participants learn about different types of fundraising, funding sources, and the benefits of networking and social media in fundraising. The workshops also explore what makes a good funding application, why some applications are rejected and clarifies common fundraising jargon. The workshops in themselves provide a great networking opportunity for groups to share ideas and experiences.
