CWP’s Social Enterprise Climb Programme – Award Winners Announced
County Wicklow Partnership, in conjunction with The Entrepreneurs Academy & funded through the LEADER Rural Development Programme are exceptionally proud to announce the ‘Unearthing in Co. Wicklow of 8 New Social Enterprises, 7 Socially aware & developing social enterprises and 4 enterprises who have all just completed the first pilot of the CWP Social Enterprise Climb Programme

Following this intensive entrepreneurial social enterprise awareness & business development programme, the participants competed in a tension filled ‘ Pitch Pit ‘ competition for an award prize pot of €10,000!!
The award winners are:
- The Cracked Cup – Ross Doss – SICAP AWARD €3,000
- Fireside Bard – Kevin C Olohan €3,000
- Sugarloaf Botanics – Laura Holly €2,000
- The Colour Club – Rachel Tyrrell €1,000
- Release Wellness – Aishling Nolan €500
- Purple Bombshell Drama – Kate Hennessey €500
Sincere thanks are given to Mr. Richard Gavin and all at the Department of Rural & Community Development for funding the award (€7,000) and the SICAP programme at CWP for the award of €3,000. Thanks to Evelyn Murray of our LEADER Development Team for coordinating the programme. In addition, 8 websites were also awarded funded through the LEADER Rural Development Programme 2014 – 2020.
