Free Social Media Training for Wicklow Tourism Businesses
The application process for phase two of the social media training programme for Wicklow tourism businesses is now open. The training programme is an initiative of Co Wicklow Partnership and is free for participants. Complete the short, online application form here:
Training will be delivered by industry specialists over four morning sessions and will assist tourism businesses build their social media profiles and gain practical skills with the aim of attracting more visitors to Wicklow. Topics include developing a social media strategy with a focus on using tourism platforms, managing crisis scenarios on your social media channels, creating content and online video, understanding social media advertising, analytics and email marketing.
Who should attend?
Applications are welcome from:
- Small to medium-sized tourism businesses based in Wicklow that are active on social media already but are keen to enhance their impact.
- Graduates from phase one of the programme which focused on basic social media skills.
Participants are kindly requested to attend all four training sessions which take place from 10am – 1pm in Wicklow County Campus, Clermont House, Rathnew, Co. Wicklow on the following dates:
- Wednesday, 19th September
- Wednesday, 3rd October
- Wednesday, 17th October
- Wednesday, 7th November
